Main units in the ontech- system

Ontech GSM 9025 and Ontech GSM 9035 are main units in the Ontech system. They are also sometimes called master units. Kommunication between the user and the unit is made through SMS. Even in the app for Androids the communications is made with SMS but integrated in the system. That is why it is important that the SIM card is activated and that there is cash on it. We strongly recommend that you register your SIM card at you mobile operator so that you can check your balance and refill the card through the internet.

By sending a request to the unit you can get information about the relay's settings, the alarm inputs status and the temperature.

The main units contains a relay that is potential free in the Ontech GSM 9025 and is controlled through 230V socket in the Ontech GSM 9035. By connecting different devices like a radiator, pumps, engine heater, garageport and much, more you can control these through your phone from anywhere. The relay can also be used as a thermostat that will regulate a radiator after a certain set temperature.

In the main units there are two different alarm inputs. These can be set to alarm at a breaking function (Normally Closed, NC) or a closing function (Normally Open, NO). This means that you can an external alarm sensor like a motion detector, magnet switch, smoke detector, level guard or other and receive an alarm on your phone if any alarm has been triggered. Alarms can be sent to 9 different units. Alarm from wireless accessories (See below) will be sent forwards to all the numbers on the alarm list.

The main unit also contains a backup- battery that will keep the unit alive for 10-20 hours. If a power failure should occur an alarm will be sent to all the numbers on the list.

Short range- radio

The main units is equipped with a short range- radio at 2,4 GHz frequency. The units can communicate individually with up to 7 different wireless accessories (See below). The radio has 16 different radio channels to avoid disturbance with other systems. 

Ontech Relay 9015

The Ontech Relay 9015 is an extra relay that wirelessly communicates with the main unit. It is also knows as a slave unit. The unit has a controllable 230V socket and two alarm inputs for wired alarm sensors.

The unit is also equipped with an internal temperature sensor and it is possible to connect an external temperature sensor. With this function you can set a temperature alarm and every unit can be set as a thermostat.

The range of the unit is 30 meters in an open field, and will suffice in a normalsized house.

The unit also works as a repeater, which means that they listen in on radio traffic and redirect the information to units further away. This way the units can cover a larger area. 

Ontech Alarm box 9012

Ontech Alarm box 9012 is a wireless magnet switch that also contains an alarm input for wired alarm sensors. It is also possible to connect motion detectors, level guards, smoke detectoprs, and much more to the alarm box.

THe unit also has a temperature sensor and will report current degree at request.

THe range of the alarm box is 30 meters in an open field, and will suffice in a normalsized house.

The unit is powered by a lithium battery and will last for about 3 years.
